Reclaimed: Knit Picks Fall 2013 Collection

I am a little late in blogging about this wonderful pattern collection that Knit Picks has just released. There are several beautiful garments and a few accessories.  My Kyoko Toque & Fingerless Mitts are in there!  They are both seamless and interesting to knit.

Kyoko Toque is begun at the crown, using Judy's Magic Cast On.  This makes the cables look like they are running from the front of the toque to the back of the toque.  All the knit stitches are twisted which really helps the cables to pop!

Kyoko Fingerless Mitts are also knit in the round, seamlessly.  They feature the same cables as the toque.  I have knit a pair for myself in Knit Picks Gloss, however, I made them into mittens.

Both Toque and Fingerless Mitts use Knit Pick Capretta yarn, which is so soft and luxurious!

AND, Right NOW, Knit Picks is having a sale until August 22, on ALL their Cashmere yarns!!!  Up to 40% off is an excellent way to try out some luxury yarn!

Emergency Hat!

My friend, Trisha Paetsch, has a really fun pattern; the Emergency Hat.  It comes in 3 sizes and is knit from the brim to the crown in a pretty lace pattern.

Scarlett, my little bunny :)
