Sample size in 6 years, not sure of the color, but it is a dark teal with almost black patches.

Kenjin means "sage" (セージ) in Japanese.
I try to name most of my designs after family members, however "Sage", the name of my first son, is a very popular knitting pattern name!  At the time of knitting the sample, my daughter was flying out to Japan (I received the yarn the day she flew out!) and therefore a Japanese name seemed appropriate.

Belle & Beau

Belle & Beau

Description:  While awaiting the arrival of my brother and sister in laws first baby, this cute little cardigan was conceived! I began knitting to pass the time and soon, my sweet niece, Belle was born. She was named after her father and my brother, Beau. Belle is a beautiful little girl with a sunny personality and loves playing in her Nana and Papa’s garden. What perfect names for these cute little cardigans born while waiting!

This cardigan is worked from the neck down, seamlessly and flat. It features a striped circular yoke, gathers at the fronts and back for Belle only and an embroidered apple tree for Beau and embroidered flowers for Belle.
