"Judith" Frock
Description: “’Judith’ is a child’s wrap around frock that is meant to be fun and comfortable!
It is knit seamlessly from the bottom up in stockinette, with shaping
at each side, an asymmetrical overlapping front & a three needle bind off
at the shoulders. It features a striped back & left front using the
intarsia method, an owl on a branch worked in duplicate stitch with an
embroidered beak & talons, as well as crocheted leaves, on the right front.
A single crochet edge is worked around the entire frock, including armholes,
with a simple scallop crochet edge along the hem and right front edge. This
charming frock is tied on the inside and outside with crochet ties.
Remix is a surprisingly soft and tweedy yarn that is easy to knit with
and gives a natural, earthy quality, perfect for a woodsy frock!
‘Judith’ is inspired by my Auntie Judy’s collection of all things ‘owl’
from my childhood.”

Sample Size 6 years on Willow, who was 5.5 years at the time. Notice the model on the website; she is 8 years old, wearing the same size 6 sample.
This was a lot of fun to design and knit. It didn't take long at all, the most time consuming part was the duplicate stitch and embroidery. The actual knitting was about 6hrs.
I need to make another frock for my girls as I didn't keep the sample; which colors? I can't wait to choose!
Hello from Japan!
